The origins of Gioielleria Allegrini date back to 1896, when the Allegrini family opened its first shop in Cosenza.
In the post-war years, Candido Allegrini and his son Michele decided to move the main location from the old 19th-century shop to 43 Corso Mazzini, marking the beginning of a new era for the company.
After his father’s passing, Michele, a talented racing driver and Italian Champion, took the reins of the jewelry business, leading it through a period of great success during the 1980s and 1990s. With taste, elegance, and dedication, he won the hearts of many Calabrian customers, establishing the Allegrini name as a symbol of quality, reliability, and style throughout Italy.
In 1996, the company proudly celebrated its centenary — one hundred years in the jewelry, watches, and silver business.

At the end of 2010, Michele and his wife Giuseppina founded Allegrini Gioielli Srl and opened a second boutique at 47/49 Via Kennedy in Rende, targeting a younger, more modern clientele that reflects the city’s dynamic spirit.
In 2011, Michele’s passing left the company’s leadership in Giuseppina’s capable hands, who has continued to carry forward the family’s legacy with determination and grace.
Today, the daughters Giovanna and Beatrice, drawing on five years of experience gained through their other entrepreneurial venture, Take Mi Home, have decided to lead Gioielleria Allegrini into the future. By the end of 2025, the brand will make its online debut, reaching new customers around the world and bringing the timeless Italian elegance and refinement of the Allegrini tradition into the digital age.
